dc.description.abstractThe article provides a comprehensive analysis of the current state and dynamics of the agricultural insurance market (agricultural insurance) in Ukraine in the context of military operations. The main problems of the functioning of insurance protection in the agricultural sector are identified: a low level of coverage of agricultural producers with insurance services, a limited number of specialized products, high insurance tariffs and a lack of trust in insurance companies. The impact of armed aggression on the market structure, the volume of insurance premiums and payments, as well as on the solvency of insurers is revealed. Statistical data on the trends in the development of agricultural insurance in 2019–2025 are presented, which indicate a gradual recovery of the market and an increase in demand for insurance of military risks. Particular attention is paid to the role of state support, international financial initiatives (FAO, IFC, EBRD) and technological innovations – the introduction of parametric products, satellite monitoring, digital platforms and models based on artificial intelligence. Strategic directions for the development of the agricultural insurance market in the post-war period have been formulated, including improving regulatory frameworks, creating a state insurance payment guarantee fund, expanding public-private partnerships, and increasing the financial literacy of farmers.
