dc.description.abstractРозкрито поняття та сутність інформаційної безпеки правоохоронних органів. Обґрунтовано важливість забезпечення належного захисту інформації під час діяльності правоохоронних органів. На основі наявних статистичних даних визначено нинішній стан інформаційної безпеки в Україні. Наведено наукові точки зору щодо механізмів гарантування інформаційної безпеки діяльності правоохоронних органів. Вказано недоліки в забезпеченні інформаційної безпеки вітчизняних правоохоронців. Запропоновано альтернативний підхід до розв’язання цієї проблеми та надано авторські рекомендації щодо застосування методів удосконалення системи інформаційної безпеки правоохоронних органів України. The concept and nature of information security of the law enforcement authorities are determined. The importance of providing an adequate protection of information while carrying out activities of the law enforcement authorities is justified. Based on available statistical data, current state of information security in Ukraine is defined. Scientific points of view on the mechanisms guaranteeing information security of activities of the law enforcement authorities are presented. Drawbacks of the process to ensure information security of the national law enforcement officers are stressed. An alternative approach to solve this problem is proposed, as well as the author’s recommendations on application of methods for improvement of the system of information security of the law enforcement authorities of Ukraine are provided.
